    SAMRA conference awards TNS papers

    Following a rigorous judging process, which involved over 40 judges examining both the written and presented version of papers presented at the SAMRA annual conference held last week at Mt. Grace in the Magaliesburg in the Gauteng province, saw all five awards go to TNS.

    Awards

    • Overall best paper (gold) - Kyle Finlay and Alice Louw of the TNS Global Equity Company in Cape Town for their paper entitled "Negative publicity: how do customers process it and how should brands manage it"
    • Silver Award - Kyle Finlay and Alice Louw for their paper "Branding in the nth dimension: measuring brand equity in a digital world"
    • Bronze Award - Kirsty Alberts, Joanne Campbell and Alice Louw for their paper entitled "Crowdsourcing: the end of marketing research?"
    • Best first-time presenter - Elisha Basson of TNS Research Surveys in Johannesburg for her paper, "To punt or be blunt"
    • Voice of the Audience award - Sarah Macdonald of TNS Research Surveys' Cape Town for her paper "Influentials or accidentals? Investigating interpersonal influence in the telecommunication market"
