Says Figjam Marketing, "We are overwhelmed with the commitment of South African celebrities to this cause and their willingness to set the example and lead the way to support women and children in our country who are supported within charity structures. We can never fully express the depth of our gratitude to all South Africans, including our dedicated celebrities who offer their time and donations to making a difference this Women's Day"
With less than a month to Women's Day on the 9th August, the Women's Day Celebration invites members of the public to get involved by clicking on www.wacd.co.za, for the benefit of over 62 selected national charities.
There are three ways that all South Africans can "Show their Hands, Show their Hearts". Donate a few hours by volunteering your hands at local charities and helping them with their needs, ranging from storytelling to painting, gardening, plumbing, erecting outdoor play areas and many more.
Alternatively, visit any Nedbank branch and donate your second hand items. The third way is to simply purchase a unique "Heart Tag" at any Nedbank.
Comments Johnston, "This is an opportunity to do what South African's do best, unite as a nation and support those in need. The needs are great and every little bit helps to create a country alive with possibility."
