SAARF Branded Data - New product category groups
After discussion with some of their stakeholders, SAARF has decided to group certain product categories together for sales purposes because it makes sense from a marketing point of view.
For instance, anybody interested in the tea-market would have to buy 3 product categories to get a perspective on all the competing brands, so for sales purposes they have now been grouped together into one sales group. This brings the number of sales groups down from the 153 individual product categories to about 110 groups and will therefore also lead to appreciable savings in certain instances.
