Women are your market

As business guru Tom Peters puts it, if women are not your major focus as a company - you are going out of business and just don't recognise that either. The Women's Show - to be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, 2 - 4 February 2007 - will change your perceptions about women.

Women are the sole or primary decision-makers for many kinds of product. Women buy brands they can establish a relationship with. Women make connections everywhere they go. Women are not a niche market - they are your business.

The Women's Show 2007 will be about making connections, with many more live and interactive components added to the show. There will be two stages hosting 50 live performances and presentations:

The Women in Business stage will host inspirational talks and discussions, from The Changing Role of Women in Business, Taking Charge, Managing Relationships, Balancing Family and Work, Becoming an Inspired Leader; Sex in the Workplace - is it Essential?; and Dress for your Success.

The Women's Lifestyle Stage will host Louise Carver, Arno Carstens, Lira, CODA, Verity and Irit Noble as MC. Fashion shows will include Miglio designer jewellery, Italy's latest clothing trend Dondup, Icing's sophisticated eveningwear and Facets' new range.

Supporting networks include the Businesswomen's Association (BWA), SA Council for Business Women, The Business Network, South African Professional & Business Women's Network, Spice for Life, Infinite Women, Women24 and Food24. Women Inc. and BWA will be supporting women entrepreneurs by hosting a pavilion to showcase women who run small enterprises.

Supporting media include Bizcommunity.com, Sunday Times, Shape magazine, Edgars Club magazine, Odyssey magazine, Shop magazine and Succeed magazine.
