The kids' magazine, Supernova has brought a special Olympic Games issue (Issue 5) in support of the spirit of international camaraderie and sportsmanship. The magazine aims to inspire understanding and respect of different cultures, as well as a healthy lifestyle.

The main feature is an informative overview of the Olympic Games, explaining the most important features of the games and remembers past South African champions. It covers the roots of the Olympics in Ancient Greece and sprints forward to take a brief tour of London, this year's host of the Olympics.
