Profiling the Loeries committee: Spero Patricios

In the fifth of our series of interviews with members of the Loeries committee, we ask Spero Patricios, MD of Ornico a few questions - some of them professional, some of them personal - to help you understand what makes the committee tick. And, sjoe, it's only a week to go until the 30th Annual Loerie Awards festival weekend!

Thirty years ago, Spero Patricios was full of trouble. Apparently nothing - other than hair and a waist line - changes.

Q: What were you doing 30 years ago, today?
A: In 1978, I was 15 - young, long hair, bell bottoms and full of trouble. Nothing has changed. (perhaps the hair and waist line).

Q: What have you done to make your mother proud?
A: Now that is a good question, and one I keep asking myself. I am not sure I can answer that!

Q: What is the most effective brand communication you have ever seen (from television advert to business card to head office)?
A: The Adidas Soccer players LIVE on a billboard.

Q: What do you do to encourage creativity in your own life?
A: Subscribe to future trends workshops.

Q: What's your most exciting (non-work) activity?
A: How old are your readers?

Q: What's the best way you can think of to celebrate the big “three-oh”?
A: A party in Margate.
