GIBS offers full MBA scholarship

The Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), based in Illovo, Johannesburg, is once again offering a full scholarship for its MBA programme starting in 2008.

“If you want a life-changing experience, obtaining an MBA will give it to you. It is a sure way of improving one's career, in fact, there are few aspects of one's life it doesn't impact positively. As a general business qualification, it is unsurpassed in what it can do for an individual's prospects,” says Prof Nick Binedell, director of GIBS.

The GIBS 60 Seconds MBA Challenge opens on 1 July. Closing date for entries is 15 August, when 20 semi-finalists will be chosen to present their credentials on 10 October. Five finalists will be informed on 15 October and the recipient will be announced on 6 November.

Energy and leadership potential, as well as drive and ambition, are key ingredients for a successful MBA application, and in the first GIBS 60 Seconds MBA Challenge last year, the calibre of entries was extremely high.
