The broadcaster also this week expressed disappointment at the comments made by the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs after CEO Marcel Golding was notified at 1pm on 14 Nov to address the committee regarding pornography at 9am on 15 Nov.
The channel informed the Committee that less than 24 hours' prior notice was given and the appropriate representatives were unavailable to attend. If e.tv was given appropriate notice it would have no difficulty in appearing before any parliamentary committee, the broadcaster said.
e.tv rejects claims by the Committee that it does not respect parliamentary procedure - during the past few months it has cooperated with the Portfolio Committee on Communications on various legislative changes.
