IBM goes green with new software

The green movement in business is moving beyond recycling paper, water bottles and soda cans. Companies such as IBM are starting to capitalize on the "greening" of the supply chain, especially when it comes to controlling carbon dioxide emissions.

Big Blue is marketing its Carbon Tradeoff Modeler software to companies that want to analyze the environmental and financial impact of their supply chain operations and learn about options for improvement.
