SANEF-Wrottesley award open for nominations

The South African National Editors' Forum (SANEF) reminds its members that nominations are open for the SANEF-Wrottesley Award, a peer recognition award presented to a SANEF member for extraordinary commitment to work towards the achievement of the association's goals.

Criteria

The candidate must be a SANEF member in good standing, active in the organisation for at least five years and who has shown both practical and leadership commitment, often behind the scenes. The candidate should have stepped in when the organisation had difficulties, worked towards its strategic goals, contributed significantly towards the achievement of its project objectives over a number of years and shown initiative in helping to solve problems.

Previous winners were Joe Thloloe, Raymond Louw, Mary Papayya and Mathatha Tsedu.

The name of the winner will be announced at the Nat Nakasa Award dinner in Cape Town on September 16 2011 and will be awarded with a framed certificate and a financial token.

Nominations may be emailed to az.gro.fenas@rotcerid with a short motivation before 9 September 2011.
