Saturday Citizen, single copy sales newspaper only

The Gauteng-based daily newspaper, The Citizen is announcing that its Saturday publication, Saturday Citizen, no longer distributes any free copies. It is a single copy sales newspaper only. This change was implemented 1 April 2019 and will reflect in the circulation figures from the second quarter (April - June 2019) onwards.

At only R8,50 Saturday Citizen is excellent value for money. This ultimate all-round leisure read, features expert columnists, great sports coverage and an excellent travel offering. It offers more in-depth stories and features but still keep its readers up to date with the latest news in bite-sized chunks.

The Citizen is a daily national newspaper, distributed Monday to Friday, with its core circulation in Gauteng (82%). Super Saturday Citizen appears on Saturdays.
