New football programme for e.tv

The Shield No Sweat Golden Goal aims to entertain the whole family. The challenge is all about teamwork, skill, confidence and, most importantly, fun. While teams enjoy a game of football, they also stand the chance to win R400 000.

Two teams are in the dome and four on the bench. As soon as a goal is scored, the clock stops and the losers are replaced by a new team. Teams keep rotating for 60 minutes.

The team at the top of the leader board at the end of the 60-minute game time is the real owner of the dome. The teams get one point for a goal scored in the first quarter, two points in the second quarter and four points in the fourth quarter. The game starts off with regional play-offs, followed by regional finals. The regional winners will battle it out in the national finals for the R400 000 prize.
