The music video of Maniac, a version of the original song that was part of the soundtrack of cult 80s' movie Flashdance, was conceptualised, filmed and produced by director Louis Minnaar, who also produced the music video for Van Coke Kartel's first single off Skop, Skiet & Donner, Voor Ons Stof Word.
The music video's premier was preceded by an online competition in which fans had to answer a number of True or False questions about the making of the video, and caused a lot of speculation about, among other things, whether Wynand and Francois had to take dance lessons for the making of the video, and whether or not they kissed during the recording!
