Vunani Property acquires Edcon Place for R150m

Vunani Property Investment Fund (VPF) announced on Thursday, 14 August 2014, that it had acquired the office block‚ Edcon Place‚ located in the Johannesburg CBD for R150.47m.

Vunani Property acquires Edcon Place for R150m

Edcon Place houses Edcon‚ the owner of Edgars and CNA.

Vunani bought the property from Windfall 50 Properties. Vunani was recently taken over by Texton Property Investments. The deal is intended to grow Vunani from a small property fund with assets of R2bn to a medium-sized fund.
