All eight SMMEs, six based in Gauteng and two in the Western Cape, provide services to the property industry such as quantity surveying, paving, maintenance and repairs, fire protection, environmental and safety consulting, waste management, aluminium and glass, and advertising.

“We are committed to integrating SMMEs into our supply chain. We know how difficult it is to grow a successful business and that having the right partners is essential on this journey. Through Property Point’s enterprise development programme, we support small businesses with the tools and know-how necessary to accelerate their growth so they are better positioned to access the procurement opportunities both within Attacq and beyond.”

Shawn Theunissen, head of corporate social responsibility at Growthpoint Properties and founder of Property Point, explains: “Entrepreneurs hold the keys to meaningful job creation and inclusive economic growth. Attacq’s commitment to providing quality services to the property industry as part of small enterprise development for the overall business supply chain is most commendable.”
