Recruiter Awards ceremony honours agencies

From local is lekker to hyper-localisation: Township consumer trends to watch this festive season

Attended by business leaders in the South African recruitment industry, the ninth annual Recruiter Awards ceremony was held earlier this month. Hosted by CareerJunction, it was a celebration of recruitment excellence, as voted for by online job seekers, who were able to cast their vote online for the agency they felt had excelled in their field of expertise.

CareerJunction's Kris Jarzebowski (CEO), Paul Byrne (executive director) and Caissa Veeran (national sales manager) announced the following winners. Nexia South Africa audited votes and results.

For the second time, there was an award for Consultant of the Year, which was won this year by Lauren Pack from TalentSmith.

Says Jarzebowski, "We are very proud to have hosted this special event and honoured that thousands of job seekers participated in the important voting process.
