Heineken appoints Corporate Affairs Director
In her role she will be responsible for driving Heinkeken South Africa’s sustainability programme, Brewing A Better World, ensuring that South Africa’s fastest growing beer producer contributes to transformation, reduces its environmental impact, engages and grows with communities, while prioritising responsible consumption. She will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all issues relating to corporate governance are undertaken to the highest standard of probity.
“We are incredibly pleased to welcome Millicent to the Heineken family. She has a wealth of experience in strategic communications and corporate affairs management, having previously been head of the Old Mutual Foundation, and worked for SAB as a Public Policy Manager and Corporate Affairs Manager,” says Van Loo.
Maroga holds an honours degree in Sociology (cum laude) from the University of Johannesburg, a master’s degree in Globalisation and Development from the Institute of Policy Development and Management at the University of Manchester in the UK and has completed the Programme for Management Development through GIBS.
