Pop-up Habitat for V&A Waterfront
The 2015 look is inspired by the Metropolises around the world and pays tribute to the eclectic energy of large cities. From minimalist to curvy, you'll find hints of metal, paper, resin, glass, wood and steel in the range and can expect unusual themes in the tabletop category, like marble-inspired porcelain dinnerware. Handmade is its hero for 2015 with hand-dipped wire and reactive glaze ceramics to hand-woven construction and artisan textiles taking centre stage. Seagrass, bamboo, pewter and glass are used in innovative and unexpected ways and their seasonal colour palette pitches fluoro brights alongside new neutral shades.
British designer Sir Terence Conran opened the first Habitat store in London in 1964 and brought in modern-and-trendy furniture to UK shoppers.
"What is useful can be beautiful and what is beautiful affordable." - Sir Terence Conran.
Habitat's core focus is about offering all customers the opportunity to furnish and decorate their interiors with useful, innovative and affordable products.
