"The EasyPlan branches in Stellenbosch and Polokwane are our first branches outside of Gauteng. We are very optimistic about the branches future growth and have an aggressive roll-out plan to open more branches in strategic locations before the end of this year," says Gift Manyanga, CEO of FNB EasyPlan.

EasyPlan is a paperless banking offering and tailor-made branch network where customers are able to open a new bank account, access funeral insurance and get a loan paid out in just 10 minutes. And, for customer convenience at month-end and during peak banking periods, FNB EasyPlan branches are open for 12 hours a day.

"The EasyPlan concept forms part of FNB's strategy to make banking more accessible and affordable to mainstream customers. Mainstream customers are people who earn an individual income of between R0 and R100 000 per annum," says Manyanga.

With the opening of the new branches, the FNB EasyPlan option is now accessible at the following outlets: The Bridge Shopping Centre, Gandhi Square and Registry House (cnr. Jeppe and Troye Streets) in Johannesburg Central, High Point in Hillbrow, Human Street in Krugersdorp, Jacoline Street in Midrand, Polokwane Mall in Polokwane, and Kayamandi in Stellenbosch.
