TopTV a porn... pawn?!

NEWSWATCH: Mergan Moodley, founder of On Digital Media (ODM), which owns TopTV, claims that the station is a pawn in some political game the IDC is playing, reports Mail & Guardian, and Financial Mail wonders what's behind Iqbal Survé's R2bn purchase of Independent Newspapers & Media SA (INM SA).

Mail & Guardian: TopTV a pawn in IDC's political game, says shareholder... Moodley - the founder of On Digital Media (ODM), TopTV's owner - reckons that the Industrial Development Corporation "has orchestrated moves to devalue the company (ODM) in order to facilitate a sweetened deal with a potential investor that would buy it out," according to the Financial Mail report.
He seems to think that the aim is to make a deal sweet enough that would entice a Chinese investor to come in, but the IDC has of course refuted the claim.
