GeneralThe work that won was great and will be strong contenders for Ad of the Year.
Magazine & NewspaperMagazine and Newspaper were very thin but the winning entries were great, particularly the work done for Kulula.com. The print ads proved that you don't have to be an official sponsor of the beautiful game to get a lot of mileage from it.
OutdoorOutdoor had a lot of entries but most of the work was not great and was entered as posters just for the #$% of it . Having said that, though, the Outdoor work done for Cape Times was very refreshing, the concept was fresh, the art direction and copy was good and the use of the medium was great!
TV & RadioTV and Radio didn't offer much but the winning work was fun. Great work stood out because it stayed true to the concept and followed with the rest.
