Cape Homemakers Expo awarded Best Large Consumer Exhibition for 2007
The 2007 Cape Homemakers Expo has been voted The Best Consumer Exhibition of the Year in the category for large exhibitions over 12,000m², at the annual EXSA (Exhibition Association of Southern Africa) Gala Award Function in Sandton on Thursday evening, 08 November.
The award function recognises excellence in the Exhibition Industry of Southern Africa and also includes awards for Best Venue, Best Stand Designers, Best Suppliers, Best Organiser and other individual awards.
"We are honored to have received this award as the competition is extremely fierce and one competes on a national basis with a large variety of exhibition types," says John Leyden, Managing Director of Homemakers Fair (Cape)(Pty) Ltd, organisers of the Cape Homemakers Expo in Cape Town and the Garden Route Homemakers Expo in George.
Cape Homemaker Expo is part of the Homemakers Media Holdings group, publishers of direct response magazines Homemakers Fair, homeTALK and Complex Living. Annually nine Homemakers Expos are presented which attract in excess of 3 000 exhibitors and 230 000 visitors.
