Paris/Berlin: 20 Years Of Underground Techno

Lords Of Chaos
In the early ‘90s a new musical genre (germinated in the '80s) rose from Norway: Black Metal.
With dark, occult imagery, the renowned black and white corpse-paint and strong anti-Christian sentiments, the abrasive and challenging music went beyond imagery into true darkness, not only resulting in church burnings but also violence, suicide and murder.
Directed by Jonas Åkerlund (known for Rammstein and Madonna music videos), he was also, in fact, a member of early Swedish Black Metal legends Bathory.
Starring Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, Jack Kilmer, Sky Ferreira and Valter Skarsgård.
These events were captured in the book Lords Of Chaos – The Bloody Rise of the Satanic Metal Underground by Didrik Soderlind and Michael Moynihan.
