Mastering the art of business negotiation for SMEs

The main objective of the event is to provide small, medium and micro enterprises with a direct point of contact, and the opportunity to interact with government institutions, parastatals, financial institutions and large private sector organisations. Organisers are currently securing participation, sponsorships and tendering and procurement opportunities that will result directly into broader access for SMME's into formalised business in Gauteng.
Gauteng Business Week 2005 will partner big and small business, facilitating tangible and measurable development for small, medium and micro organisations. Long-term initiatives include the establishment of partnership, mentoring and measurement programmes - including quarterly hands-on follow up sessions - and a commitment to sustainable development and empowerment for SMME entities.
Representatives at the launch this week interested in leveraging on the enormous opportunities that will avail, include Gauteng based SMME's, local and national government departments, parastatals, business chambers, corporate sector representatives, financial houses and SETA's.
