AMASA's Annual Bash
The theme is ‘Time Warp’ and the date is Thursday 24 October 2002, so put it in your diary and get out your dancing shoes. AMASA’s annual industry event has become an institution. It’s the one day of the year that South Africa’s media industry really lets its hair down and parties ‘til dawn. So make sure you’re part of the festivities this year.
Dave Frankel and his event committee have been hard at work planning for this year's event to be even slicker than last year. And although 24 October seems to be a million miles away, time flies when you're working hard. AMASA has also found a new and even better venue - this year the event will be held at the Liban Conference Centre, cnr Mount Lebanon & Western Service Road where there's loads of secure parking and even better facilities. It's right next door to Cedar Park, which has been the home of the .AMASA bash for the past two years.
As always there will be prizes for the best-dressed individual and team. And to add a bit of spice the committee will also be rewarding the least-dressed. So set your imagination free and start planning your outfits. The prizes are always fantastic and Dave has promised that this year will be no exception - perhaps a trip abroad, to an exotic island or even a luxury game lodge. Details will be posted on the AMASA website at www.amasa.org.sa as they become available.
Sponsorship packages are available and can be tailored to meet specific requirements. Mandy Ormerod will be happy to discuss innovative ways for you to reach and impress this highly influential niche market. So contact her on 011 787-2470 or email .
Bookings open mid September and tickets, which include entry, dinner and three free drinks vouchers, will cost R100.00 for AMASA members and R170.00 for non-members. Check out the AMASA website at www.amasa.org.za for more details. But remember there are only 800 tickets available so get your bookings in early.
The Advertising Media Association of South Africa's primary focus is the education of people with an interest in the media, marketing and advertising industry.
