Rocking the Daisies and the Gardens on the same weekend

The Rocking the Daisies and Rocking the Gardens festivals will both be be held on the same weekend this year: Rocking the Daisies from 8 to 10 October at Cloof Wine Estate in Darling, Western Cape, and Rocking the Gardens at Emmarentia Dam, Johannesburg, from 9 to 10 October 2010.

The festivals will once again showcase SA's freshest home-grown musical talent, the hottest DJs, comedians and international acts.

According to Craig Bright, festival director: "Watch this space for big brands, great entertainment and exciting green initiatives. Earlier this year, Rocking the Daisies was the first winner of the inaugural Climate Change Leadership Awards and received the award for the Small and Medium Business Sector. Both festivals will once again create green concepts to generate awareness and offset carbon footprint, living by the motto to "play hard, tread lightly".
