The CCDI collaborated with Cape Town designer Maryse Collins of Copperleaf Design to create the new design. The visual language combines a formal typeface style with an informal border, underpinning the uniqueness of non-mass-produced products. It will be used in various colour combinations on all corporate print material, trade stand branding and other marketing items.

The Handmade concept could be adapted by other provinces, says CCDI marketing manager Marjorie Naidoo, but they will interpret it in different ways to reflect the characteristics of their own local places.
