SA wine tourism book in international competition
The updated 2011 Wine Tourism Handbook has been recognised as the best South African book in the Wine Atlas & Tourism Category of the international 2010 Gourmand Awards. This qualifies it for entry into the international competition that takes place in March 2011 where it will compete for the 'Gourmand Best in the World' award in its category.
For the first time in its history, users can download a condensed version of the book onto a cellphone allowing navigation around the winelands, using the GPS co-ordinates of the farms. The 2011 edition is available now at Exclusive Books and CNA stores countrywide, major local and international tourism trade shows, online and through wine farms throughout South Africa at R140 excl VAT.
