Driving advertising innovation

Creative media agency, Starcom, has benchmarked Stoney Ginger Beer as the first advertiser to use ComutaNet's innovative new product by applicating its new taxi advertising in reflective vinyl.

As a community brand, Stoney Ginger Beer aimed to interact with its target market as they go about their daily lives. An integral part of their day is spent commuting to and from work, calling for the use of interior and exterior taxi advertising, Commuter FM, Roadstar Concerts and Rank TV.

"We needed the campaign to have that 'wow' factor, despite a limited budget," explains Belinda Kayton, Media Planner for Starcom. "With the support of Sindile Nqunqa, Stoney's Brand Manager, we decided to implement the reflective vinyl innovation, a first for taxi advertising! This, combined with the other mediums, will achieve a higher awareness level of this tried and trusted brand."

ComutaNet has deliberately launched its exclusive reflective vinyl option to coincide with winter's shorter days and longer nights. "Reflective vinyl keeps the advertising message alive after dark and Stoney Ginger Beer taxis will enjoy added attention, being the first to be clad in this breakthrough medium," comments Brian Lindquist, Sales & Marketing Director, ComutaNet.
