Marketing Circle launches in Jozi

Fresh from its success in the creative-centric Western Cape, the Marketing Circle's first Thought Leaders Forum entitled 'Trends and Hot Campaigns for 2005', launches in Johannesburg on 7 April 2005, with a panel including Net#work BBDO's CD, Mike Schalit.

The Marketing Circle, founded by Cape Town-based DUO Marketing and Communications last year, is a monthly networking event for the marketing and advertising communities.

The objective of the primarily networking forum is to introduce individuals and companies to each other, to share interests, business opportunities, trends and successful case studies in a creative and informal environment. See www.marketingcircle.co.za for detail on the Cape Town forum.

The Gauteng launch event reflects the integration between the marketing, advertising and value-added communication industries. It takes place at the Su da da Bar, 12 Fredman Drive, below Nedbank House in Sandton, on Thursday, April 7, at 6pm.

Schalit will share some trends for 2005 and Mike Walker from Magna Carta, will speak on the South African Revenue Services' 'Makoya Moola' campaign.

The cost is R100 per head payable before the event. RSVP: .
