Leading omni-channel and online retail specialists, Emerce Commerce has launched a competition in which one business will win the build of an online store, an opportunity for any SME selling physical products to take their business to the next level.
Win the build of an online store for your business with Emerce Commerce

As omni-channel retail continues to see massive growth in South Africa and globally, thanks in part to greater mobile penetration and an increasingly fastidious customer, more and more brick and mortar retailers are considering e-commerce.

“As an experienced team of online retail shopping specialists, seeing businesses succeed by taking their offering to the next level via e-commerce is what makes us tick. This is an opportunity for a profitable local business that is ready to reach a far wider audience and harness technology to win new customers. If you think you meet the criteria, we want to hear from you,” says Matt Roux, CTO for Emerce Commerce.

There is surely no better way to demonstrate the value of an online store that works effectively within the broader business and customer strategy than by building an e-commerce site for a forward-thinking company ready to take the leap.

The competition runs from 11 July 2016 to 18 August 2016 and is open to any business that:

  • is a company or Close Corporation registered and trading in the Republic of South Africa;
  • is registered as a VAT vendor in the Republic of South Africa and has an annual turnover of greater than R1.5 million; and
  • sells physical products.

The winner will be selected on 30 August 2016. Selection will be based upon the answers submitted in the electronic entry form and the winner will be chosen at the discretion of the Emerce Commerce directors. SMEs interested in entering the competition can visit winastore.emercecommerce.com and complete the entry form. Entries close on 18 August 2016.
