Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries
The Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI) is an agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and part of the development cooperation effort of the Netherlands. It is inspired by contributing to trade-led economic growth and the resulting reduction of poverty in developing countries. The mission is to strengthen the economic relations between these countries and Europe.
CBI's ambition is to be a professional and practical coach, a source of inspiration, and an insider to the European market. The business is to share every piece of knowledge acquired concerning business opportunities, regulations, markets and technology with companies in developing countries.
