Helping to develop SA's foundation
Eskom is promoting registered small, medium and micro-enterprises through its Eskom Small Business Expo running concurrently with the Franchise & Business Opportunities Expo. The expo starts on Friday, 7 September 2007 at Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg.
The Eskom Development Foundation initiated the Small Business Expo in 1997 with the objective of providing opportunities to SMMEs, from disadvantaged backgrounds, to showcase their services with a view to forming linkages with big businesses and create a platform for international visitors who want to invest in South Africa to establish relationships with BEE exhibitors.
To this end, the expo contributes to exposing its visitors to affordable business opportunities in the form of franchises, direct marketing opportunities and new dealership opportunities, as well as ideas for small industries and businesses.
The Eskom Small Business Exhibition 2007 will run in Hall 2 at Gallagher Estate, 10am – 6pm from Friday, 7 September 2007 to Sunday, 9 September 2007. For complimentary access to the expo, pre-register on www.eskomsmmeexpo.co.za.
