Gagasi FM DJ participates in the energy saving solution

Gagasi FM DJ, Thandolwethu from the drive time "Afternoon Show off" has been part of the 49M team and has participated in many of the energy efficiency road shows!

The challenges have been fun yet educational and has seen Thandolwethu racing through the "on site" mobile homes with members of the public, finding ways to save electricity and in turn educating the public at large in a fun and interactive manner.

In each room, Thandolwethu had to select the most energy saving appliances and plugs and then challenged the public to beat her time. She also publicly made her pledge to make a difference and motivated many of the audience to do the same on the various activation days. One of her on going energy saving contributions is to pull out her cellphone charger and switch off the plug.

Catch Thandolwethu at the next 49M stop which will be at Umlazi Megacity on Saturday, February 23rd, Gateway on Sunday, March 17th, Saturday March 23rd at Midlands Mall and Sunday 31st March at Musgrave Centre.
