The Festival will be made up of the Loerie Awards for marketing and advertising, a comprehensive international conference, an exhibition, and a range of focused training and workshop interventions. A series of round table forums will provide a platform for executive interaction between key industry stakeholders, including civil society and government. The inclusive event encourages pan-African participation through its positioning as the premier marketing and communications festival on the African continent.
The 26-year old Loeries is internationally recognised as the premier awards programme for advertising creativity in Africa. This year sees 13 international speakers ranged alongside a strong local complement of marketers and educators: two conferences; two workshops; 38 sessions; 13 international marketing and advertising experts; 4 awards celebrating breakthrough creativity, outstanding strategic thinking, and phenomenal effectiveness!
Keynote addresses will be presented by creative giant Adrian Holmes (Chairman and Global Chief Creative Officer of Lowe and Partners), Jon Roska (CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Roska Direct), Richard Pinder (Vice President EMEA Leo Burnett) and Ben Hatton (Commercial Director Manchester United),

FRIDAY, 1 OCT:
All about the business of marketing.
This conference will run alongside the Marketing & Communications Conference and aims to showcase how marketing has evolved over the years with particular reference to the growing importance of ethics in the marketing process. Papers will provide insights into new and innovative marketing practices and the associated measures.
The old Assegai Awards. Held in the Sun City Superbowl (black tie) to celebrate and reward rewards advertising and marketing programmes that can demonstrate measurable results, with great strategy, execution and creativity. This award includes CRM, ERM, Loyalty, Sponsorship and Corporate Social Investment programmes. Entries are judged on a combination of Strategy, Creativity and Results.

SATURDAY, 2 OCT:
The focus of Day 2 will be on creativity.
Recognising award winning work in Design, Digital, Promotional Marketing, Corporate Events, and Corporate Film, Sponsorship and Corporate Social Investment programmes. Entries are judged primarily on creative excellence. Used to be known as the Raptors Awards. Dress: Elegant/Traditional. Venue: Sun City Superbowl.

SUNDAY, 3 OCT:
Sunday is the big day for networking with the Loerie Golf Day, and the big one for creatives - the Loerie Advertising Awards.
These awards acknowledge the people behind the work recognised in the other three awards. The coveted Marketer of the Year Award will be bestowed here. Dress: Elegant/Traditional. Venue: Pilanesberg Conference Centre.
Loerie Advertising is the biggie, and the one that celebrates great creative advertising in the traditional above the line media (Television, Cinema, Radio, Print, Outdoor, Posters). Entries are judged primarily on creative excellence.
Sun City Superbowl
EXHIBITION:
The Loerie Exhibition comprises an Expo of selected finalists which made it though the Loerie Awards filter judging process. Also on show will be five showreels of the best local and international advertising. For the entire three days at the Sun City Hall of Treasures.
