‘Entirely preventable’: Minister slams systemic failures in George building collapse

The wines were created in the French tradition of winemaking to the memory of the Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III and mother of the Prince Imperial, Louis Napoléon, killed in an ambush on 1 June 1879, in the closing stages of the Anglo-Zulu War. The occasion celebrates the historical and poignant links between France and KwaZulu-Natal and as a result, its impact on the tourism of the province.
The Napoleonic Wines will only be available at Domaine des Dieux in KwaZulu-Natal, in France and in French territories. A percentage of every bottle of the Imperial wines sold will go to two small schools, which are supported by Alliance Francaise. One is in the township of France in Pietermaritzburg and the other near Nqutu, next to the Prince Imperial monument.
