Candidates are offered the opportunity to enter MHG through workplace training programmes, which will develop their skills and offer hands-on training, giving them real business experience with the aim of fast tracking their professional careers.
“Facebook is a powerful and innovative tool which is just only starting to come into its own in South Africa. It's the perfect platform to communicate with potential applicants, who are kept up-to-date with their applications online as part of our integrated marketing plan,” says Friend.
Excluding the actual MHG interviews and assessment, the entire recruitment programme will be online and technology-based. Graduates will be informed whether or not they've made it through to the next round of the selection process and, in turn, will be invited to future MHG recruitment events.
The MHG Graduate Development Programme runs over two years and is based on a rotation system where the graduates move for the first 12 months between the different areas in the company – including back and middle office, amongst the medical schemes administered by MHG. The successful candidates receive a competitive monthly salary while gaining experience and leadership training.
To join the MHG Graduate Development Programme, go to www.facebook.com. Applications close on 30 September 2007.
