The industry has recently applauded the school for its offering of a brand management and account service short courses.
Dr Ludi Koekemoer, managing director and principal of the AAA School of Advertising, says: "There exists a huge need within the industry for agencies to invest in their account directors, managers and stratplanners, as these individuals are ultimately the custodians of their clients' brands. The AAA School of Advertising is the only institution currently offering this particular course in the country."
Koekemoer says agencies should also look to upgrade the skills level of their account management team and rediscover how to add value, build relationships and put the magic back into client service.
"We have 11 esteemed industry consultants to present on the many facets of the subject ranging from: branding strategies; research and tracking; brand leveraging; brands and the law; launching a new brand, as well as managing a brand in the trade and financial aspects relating to branding."
The brand management course kicks-off on 13 August and runs through to 19 November, with after hour classes being staged on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
The courses cost R6 400 per module and seats are limited.
