    ASA takes to the airwaves

    Starting this week Thursday 18 January 2007, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) of South Africa will be hosting a talk show on Radio Today every Thursday at 1pm. The show forms part of the authority's ongoing efforts to ensure that its rules and decisions are transparent and accessible.

    The show, which is hosted by Gail Schimmel, the head of legal and regulatory affairs, airs on 1485 AM or DSTV Audio Channel 70. Each week a different topic will be discussed and listeners will be invited to call in.
