Mobile game claimed to attract 3 million players

Last week qeep released FlipChip, its newest multiplayer title and claims to have 3 million players on mobiles, all trying to win the game.

“We think that with this one we can add to the success of our existing line-up and offer an even broader choice of entertaining and challenging games to our users,” says Christian Schulte, co-founder and managing director of Blue Lion mobile GmbH.

The trend towards mobile multiplayer gaming can be seen through the rapidly growing number of users on qeep. While the entertainment platform first recorded 2 million users at the end of June, today qeep has broken through 3 million users, emphasizing the strong growth of mobile multiplayer gaming. In contrast to the past, when people played against a computer, users these days look for a more exciting challenge where they can prove their skills against real opponents - conveniently on their mobile phone.

The java application operates on all current mobile phones and includes an extensive multiplayer gaming section, along with entertaining social networking functions. To download qeep on your mobile go to wap.qeep.net.
