Embarking on a campaign to create awareness of its brand and improved level of service and given the recent controversy over its name-change from Pretoria, the metropolitan municipality City of Tshwane elected to incorporate ComutaNet's media into their advertising strategy.
Tshwane has utilised external taxi advertising and Commuter FM as vehicles to raise awareness of the nation's capital amongst commuters.
ComutaNet designed, printed and applicated a bus converted into a mobile library with artwork. A vibrant yellow background illustrated the City of Tshwane's logo with "Tshwane Mobile Library - We Empower, We Inform" written on it.
Kevin Kirby, ComutaNet's group marketing manager, says: "To ensure that Tshwane achieves its objective of creating awareness of the brand and its service delivery, it was essential to combine various elements to generate maximum impact.
"Its current intensive advertising campaign backed by Commuter FM, externally branded special taxis and the inclusion of an educational element by incorporating the mobile library, ensured that City of Tshwane's communication was delivered to the right audience, with the mobile bus capturing huge audience attention and participation."
