President of the BWA Dr Namane Magau says: "The 2005 finalists represent diverse industries and are an influential group of candidates. They were chosen from a group of over 30 entries. It has always been part of the BWA's commitment to highlight successful businesswomen who can, in turn, inspire other women and make it possible for them to excel."
The 2005 Businesswoman of the Year will be announced on 2 August 2005 at the Sandton Convention Centre. Proceeds from the event will go towards the BWA Bursary Fund.
