Head of Growth Marketing

Location: Cape Town, with some international travel
Work model: Hybrid (1 day from home) with general flexibility. 
Salary: R95 000 - R120 000 CTC + performance bonus

About our client:

Our client is a luxury travel company creating once-in-a-lifetime journeys for high-net-worth travellers. Thanks to a strong brand, great PR and beautiful visuals, direct sales are already healthy. Now they need a performance-led Head of Growth Marketing to turn that brand into a steady, predictable pipeline of direct leads. You’ll have the freedom to test new markets, channels and ideas, and a brand and content team behind you, so you can focus on growth.

What the job involves:

• Building the direct-client pipeline and owning marketing strategy, budget and targets
• Growing paid media into new markets and ad formats
• Driving SEO and GEO (visibility in AI search), building on leads already coming in from tools like ChatGPT
• Building partnerships with exclusive members’ clubs and luxury brands
• Testing new direct channels, including direct mail
• Running HubSpot CRM, segmentation, lead scoring and long-cycle nurture for prospects and past guests
• Owning website performance, conversion, tracking and attribution
• Supporting the sales team with campaigns, materials and events
• Overseeing brand, content and PR, and using them to drive discoverability and leads
• Leading a small team across digital, brand and content, and hiring a digital marketer

What you need to be considered:

• 8+ years in marketing, including at least 3 leading a team and managing a channel budget
• A proven record of owning pipeline or revenue targets through performance marketing. Put the numbers in your CV.
• Experience marketing to high-net-worth audiences, ideally international
• Hands-on paid media, analytics and attribution skills. You read the numbers without needing an analyst.
• Deep CRM and marketing automation experience, ideally HubSpot, including long-cycle nurture
• Experience generating demand for a high-value, considered purchase
• Confidence leading a small team and hiring for it
• A feel for luxury: you know that how a brand shows up matters as much as reach
• Able to start in February 2027

Bonus points if you:

• Have worked in luxury travel, hospitality or high-end goods
• Have worked on GEO or AI search visibility
• Have run direct mail or partnership campaigns for wealthy audiences
• Have marketed through travel advisors or other intermediaries
• Bring brand, content or PR experience
