On Skype on Thursday, 31 October 2013, we hosted founder of Realm Digital ( Digital), Wesley Lynch (@wesleylynch) to talk about The Footnote Summit happening in Cape Town on 6 November. We discussed the event details, the speakers at the event and what can be expected for attendees. We also touch on some of the challenges facing publishers in South Africa at the moment and see how the event will address these opportunities. Then in studio we spoke to Fred Roed (@Fred_Roed), CEO for World Wide Creative (@wwcteam) to discuss what the agency is doing and the MyCiti Google Project they are rolling out in Cape Town. We looked at Heavy Chef and what the future holds for these sessions, and also talked about Fred's recent New York trip and discuss the trends and topics in advertising and marketing picked at there.
