FNB Business Banking was voted as South Africa's top Business Bank in the 2013 Intellidex Business Day Investors Monthly Survey. The survey highlights a wide range of opinions that business owners and managers have on their banks in South Africa.

According to the survey, FNB is a bank that generates the greatest customer satisfaction across almost all product categories and is the most innovative bank in the market.

This comes just a week after FNB Business Banking was voted as the top corporate brand in the Sunday Times Top Brands 2013 survey.
"The business environment has changed and has encouraged us to create and offer more innovative products and solutions for our customers. Our move to the digital environment offers tailor made and simple products and solutions that make banking easier for our customers," says Willie Miller, acting CEO FNB Business Banking.

Simplifying onerous administrative requirements

FNB's recent innovations in the business banking space provides evidence of the ease and efficiency with which technology can be harnessed to add significant value to small and medium business banking clients. FNB Business Banking clients can now benefit from a host of online accounting and payroll facilities, all designed to simplify the onerous administrative requirements.

In addition and in line with governments appeal for businesses to assist SMMEs, FNB together with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) has created an electronic platform for SMME's that will help reduce the administrative and compliance headaches that many business clients experience on a daily basis.

"Recognised as the most innovative bank globally as well as in South Africa, it's great to see that the FNB Business Banking platform is making banking easier for our customers and SMMES. We are proud of this achievement," concludes Miller.

The client survey received 362 responses, of which 233 completed the full survey. Data on business banking customers focused four broad service categories: transactional services, savings and investment products, treasury services and specialist services.
