Get latest insights on YPO from Rademeyer

Andrea Rademeyer, founder and CEO of research company Ask Afrika, will be sharing her insights at two 'freewheeling' sessions on YPO, which she will host at her Pretoria HQ, at 8am or 3.30pm on Tuesday, 9 April 2013. Later in the year, she will share her report back from ESOMAR.

In Istanbul from 28 February to 2 March, Rademeyer attended the annual conference of the YPO (Young President's Organisation), of which she is a member. Entitled 'Crossing Over', the conference brought together CEOs from its member base of 20,000 (all under 45) to engage with leaders from business, politics, finance, technology, philanthropy, social enterprise and the humanities.

She gained valuable insights from the executive members of companies as diverse as Coca-Cola, BMW, British Airways, Cirque du Soleil and Ferrari and former heads of government from Germany, the UK and Greece.

    Report back on the ESOMAR

Equally revealing, will be her report back on the ESOMAR (European Society for Opinion and Market Research) Mobility Conference, which will be held in Valencia from 19-20 November 2013. The society encourages, advances and elevates market research worldwide and currently has 4900 members in over 130 countries. Rademeyer has been invited to be one of four members of the conference's programme committee, joining colleagues from Germany, Belgium and Australia.

"Apparently my reputation and that of the company for challenging the status quo has preceded me. This makes me happy, as this skill equips us to deal with the future. Mobility touches so many areas - personality, the transport industry, city planning, society in general, family life. The conference will provide holistic insights into physical, economic and social mobility, while identifying the wide range of business opportunities that this macro trend creates for market research."

With conference papers dealing with topics such as global nomads (understanding global mobility), growth of the middle classes (the new segmentation paradigm) and upward mobility (consumers on the move), her December report back is likely to attract an exclusive audience of South African and Pan-African captains of industry.
