One of the highlights at this year's expo will be the brand-new Green Living project. This feature area will take centre stage at the show with 90m² of pure environmentally friendly solutions. An interactive house, encompassing rooms such as the kitchen, bathroom, living area, bedroom and outdoor area, will show visitors how to be more eco-friendly in a practical and educational way.

Another exciting addition will be Kids Roomz, which will be presented for the second year in a row, and will showcase kids' rooms for different age groups. This dedicated space will be situated on the Mezzanine level and will feature seven rooms, complete with wall and floor coverings, furniture, and accessories, promising to inspire youngsters and their parents.

Our Walling Options area will be a visual 3D display at Entrance 1, showcasing various solutions for walls, offering visitors loads of inspiration. Ideas will range from the latest in wallpaper to old favorites such as paint techniques and cladding, not forgetting the ever popular option of tiling.

The Future of Design, which will be offered for the first time at the Johannesburg Expo, will feature “design with a conscience”. Some of South Africa's leading designers will showcase their environmentally friendly designs and the display will include award winning designs by the Greenside Design Center.

The Johannesburg HOMEMAKERS Expo offers a vast array of products and services under one roof, giving visitors the opportunity to explore, compare and find solutions to their specific needs. Another bonus is that those who attend get to see the latest trends and ideas as well as new ways of reviving old favourites. Whether in the market to buy or just looking for new ideas, this show has the solution.
