Charities can apply to become part of annual radiothon

Any charity that wishes to be benefited by the annual 101.9 ChaiFM radiothon can send its application by SMS, including its name, the word Radiothon to the MS line 34519 from 24 July 2014 (SMS charged at R1.50). The nomination process ends 15 August.

The Jewish community talk radio station, which has won the MTN Radio Award for the radiothon two years running, is now opening up its annual radiothon to beyond the community.

The top three unique numbers will then go head-to-head as the finalist nominees. Based on unique votes, an overall winner will be selected. The station will then put together a radiothon for the winning charity.
