NEWSWATCH: That report, the 2008 one reviewing the Sunday Times editorial processes that freelance journalist Michelle Solomon has been trying to get her hands on since earlier this year and whose PAIA application was turned down, is now public - published online in an "exclusive" by Business Day on Wednesday afternoon, 15 June 2011. Twitter has been aflame at the lack of credit due Solomon. [updated]
Controversial Sunday Times report now public

After a very-much public spat on Twitter, Business Day editor Peter Bruce did tweet that "Of course, Michelle Solomon is the heroine of this saga. I happily and humbly acknowledge that."

Bruce has since also written about the "debt that we all owe" to Solomon.

Just after 5pm, Business Day also published an interview with former Sunday Times editor Mondli Makhanya, in which Makhanya is quoted as saying that Solomon was offered "the opportunity to come into the office and read the report". Solomon has denied this on Twitter.

Solomon on Thursday 16 June published a response on the Daily Maverick: Sunday Times, Business Day, the report and me.

On Friday 17 June, Bruce wrote the following blog post: The Sunday Times, Michelle, Daily Maverick and Meeeeee.
