Hunters association expo on target

The South African Hunters and Game Conservation Association (SAHGCA) has announced a new, annual hunter's exhibition that aims to offer everything the South African hunter enthusiast could ever want and need. Recently The Professional Hunters Association of South African (PHASA) and the African Bow hunting Organisation's (ABO) have both confirmed their endorsement and support for HuntEx2011.

HuntEx2011, which will be held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Gauteng from 15-17 April 2011, will introduce a new era for the commercial hunting industry. The aim of this hunting exhibition is to create a commercial trade show where the manufacturer and supplier of hunting gear and accessories can exhibit the full scope of their products and services whilst interacting with hunters about their needs and preferences.

A focus on hunters' needs

Danie Venter, chief executive officer of SAHGCA says "The modern South African hunter is particularly fastidious and will only buy the best hunting weapons, ammunition and accessories that they can afford. Additionally, they are nature lovers for whom conservation and the preservation of our wildlife heritage are paramount. In a nutshell, they know what they want and that is exactly what HuntEx will offer them. We will focus the attention on hunters and their needs, from the choice of hunting rifle, destinations and vehicles to the final product, whether it is venison or trophies. HuntEx will create an opportunity where dealers and hunters can discuss the best hunting experience without any interruption or distraction."

SAHGCA has appointed AmaConference, an experienced event and project management firm, to plan and organise HuntEx2011. Adriaan Woudstra of AmaConference has in turned appointed Complete Exhibitions as the official exhibition supplier and management service provider for this exciting event due to their extensive experience within the industry. Nearly 50% of the show has already been sold.
